& Juliet
& Juliet is a fresh and innovative take on the classic Shakespeare play, with a catchy pop score and a clever twist on the story. The show imagines what would happen if Juliet didn’t kill herself after Romeo’s death, but instead ran away to Paris with her friends. The show features songs by Max Martin, who has written hits for artists like Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Taylor Swift.
& Juliet has been a critical and commercial success, and it has the advantage of being a new show with a fresh perspective. It has also won several awards in London’s West End, where it premiered in 2019. The show appeals to a young and diverse audience, who can relate to Juliet’s journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
Kimberly Akimbo
Kimberly Akimbo is a darkly comic and thought-provoking show about a young woman with a terminal illness. Kimberly suffers from progeria, a rare condition that causes her to age rapidly. She looks like a 60-year-old woman in a 16-year-old’s body. The show follows her as she tries to cope with her dysfunctional family, her first love, and her impending death.
Kimberly Akimbo is a more challenging show than & Juliet, but it has won over audiences with its humor, heart, and intelligence. The show also tackles important themes like mortality, identity, and family.

The Parade is a powerful and moving drama about the trial of a black man accused of raping a white woman in the Jim Crow South. The show is based on the true story of Leo Frank, a Jewish factory manager who was lynched in 1915 after being wrongly convicted of murdering Mary Phagan, a 13-year-old employee. The show explores the themes of racism, anti-Semitism, and injustice.
The parade is a strong contender for Best Musical, and it could take home the award if voters are looking for a show with a serious message. The show features a score by Jason Robert Brown, who won a Tony Award for his previous musical The Bridges of Madison County. The show also features a stellar performance by Jake Gyllenhaal in the role of Leo Frank, who brings nuance and emotion to his character.
Some Like It Hot
Some Like It Hot is a fun and frothy musical comedy about two musicians who dress as women to escape the mob. The show is based on the 1959 film of the same name, starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Jack Lemmon. The show features a score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who wrote the music for Hairspray and Smash.
Some Like It Hot is also a popular show, and it could win if voters are looking for a night of fun and laughter. The show features hilarious performances by Santino Fontana and Andy Karl as the cross-dressing musicians, as well as Laura Osnes as the sultry singer Sugar Kane. The show also features catchy songs, colorful costumes, and witty dialogue.
